After the fire that destroyed half the temple in 2005. "On 5 November 2005, we had a massive fire. It started at noon, and within 45 minutes about half the temple was destroyed. We managed to save the main hall (just), but the connecting 400-year-old building containing the kitchen, office and accommodation for the senior people in the temple, as well as the temple tearoom, were reduced to ashes."
